This book is one of my favorites because it seems like you can make a scarf for just about any season. There are 16 easy everyday designs to choose from. Each design is designated a skill level so you know if you're in for a challenge or if you'll be able to finish the scarf in a short period of time. Of course the materials and gauge are provided as well as any special stitches or pattern notes needed.
Each of the crochet scarf patterns come with a full colored photo so you can see what it looks like. Every pattern takes up just one page so you know most of these are going to be pretty easy.
Aside from loving every single scarf in this book, I really like the Picots in the Sun Scarf on page 37. The golden color is nice for the summertime. I also really like the Gypsy Rose Scarf on the next page. It's such a skinny scarf with multiple strands that it almost looks like a decorative necklace. This is an easy pattern that I may have to try myself!
The neatest pattern in my opinion is the Grids of Gray Scarf on page 24. I've never seen such a scarf before. Bernat Satin is used in two contrasting colors worked with the right side facing the whole time. This scarf reminds me of the graduation stoles, but much more decorative and detailed with multiple strands. Each of these scarves should definitely be tried out at least once.
