Washcloths are one of my favorite items to create. They are usually really easy to crochet and do not take a lot of material. This strand of diamonds washcloth has a lot of texture in the design and could easily be used as a dishcloth with all those bumps and grooves to get your dishes clean.

This is a very enticing stitch pattern, but I literally had to work it up in a solid color in order to see it clearly. While I probably would use the variegated yarn for the actual project, for photographic purposes, its just awful! Ive been turned off from a project by poor photography only to give it a try and discover something I really liked. Posters need to pay as much if not more attention to the photos as the text!
