Rainbow Dragon Bag

search

Use rainbow colored yarn to work up this one-of-a-kind crocheted bag. The Rainbow Dragon Bag measures 12 inches high by 9 inches wide, so it's just the right size to carry a variety of items including notebooks, magazines, and laptops/tablets. This particular pattern is best for intermediate crocheters since it is crocheted in rounds from the bottom up and uses the crocodile stitch. This is a great crochet backpack to make not only for kids, but also high school and college students, as well.

I think it's time for me to learn the crocodile stitch! I've seen sooo many cool patterns on here that call for it. It would be awesome to create this Dragon Bag in a gold yarn with a metallic thread ala Smaug in the Hobbit!!! I know who would appreciate it in my family. I guess from what is said that once you learn the crocodile stitch that this bag is pretty straight forward. Thanks for the great pattern!!!

This pattern is going to be saved to my account. I just love everything about it. I love the colors, the size and the crochet technique. I want one and I am going to make it soon.

The tutorial also contains a video, but even with that, I as well as a lot of others are still having a problem with this pattern. I love this pattern, but I am stuck on the flap. I have never worked this stitch before and could really use some pointers for others who are very good at it.

Cute as can be and I already know what lady is getting this for Christmas. My niece loves hand made items but doesn't like what she calls, old lady crochet. This is definetly not an old lady purse. It is very much a happening one. And it will do with anything she wears.

This is a pretty bag. I love the yarn the designer chose. It really brings out the crocodile stitches. I would recommend that people line this bag though. The crocodile stitch leaves holes in the fabric that will allow small items to fall through. Lining the bag will prevent losing things, as well as help keep the bag from stretching out of shape.

The crocodile stitch is one of those unique crochet stitches. Using this rainbow yarn was just genius. I love this backpack and anyone that carries it will surely get a lot of comments. This pattern is for sure on the to-do list.

I seem to have developed a fascination for the crocodile stitch. This bag looks amazing! This is now part of my ever growing list of things I want to make.

I would really like to download this pattern is there a way to do this? my printer is not working to print it at this time

Instead of printing the pattern save it on your computer. Make a file for "crochet" and after you download it save it there.

Print it as a PDF file. Every computer / printer should have that option and it is very easy to do and saves lots of paper too.
