These pencil or pen covers are awesome! I love patterns that use embroidery floss to crochet. It is super cheap, and there are so many colors you can do anything! This would be the perfect gift for your kids teachers. I bet they would love them! You could find out their favorite colors and make them a variety of colors.

. I think these crochet pen/pencil covers are awesome. I would be so worried of these disappeared off my desk as my coworkers have sticky fingers. (lol) Then on the other hand, who else would have a pen like this?

As a former elementary school teacher, I would have loved to have these on my desk. Now that I am retired from teaching and only substitute I think I will keep these on hand to provide to the teacher as a welcome back gift. I'm sure that will brighten up her day upon her return.

These are absolutely adorable! Not only are they a super quick project, they would make a perfect end of the year gift for teachers and educational assistants! These would feel so nice in your hand and I feel they would be a good addition to those individuals who find holding a pen uncomfortable. Imagine the colour possibilities!
