Fox Pencil Case
"With school time quickly approaching, I got to thinking about making something functional for kids to use. So, here's my free pattern for a cute, quick and easy project - a Fox Pencil Case. I used worsted weight yarn and a 4mm hook. You could easily change the yarn color to make this a Wolf Pencil Case. Of course if you don't have any school age children, this pattern could easily be used as a Crochet Hook Case, a Toothbrush Case or a Glasses/Phone Case. Hope you enjoy this freebie."
NotesYou can easily replace the HHDC stitch with just the HDC stitch if you prefer.

This is just adorable! What a perfect gift for back to school, or for a little one just starting out on their educational career. The instructions are easy to follow, and the designer has included a series of photos to guide the assembly. The only change I would make is to swap out a bit of Velcro for the snap set. Snaps can be hard for little hands to manage.

This is perfect for my five year old grand daughter. She loves animals and wants to be a Vet. I think I will embroider her name on the back side. And if I use this pattern but change colors it just may become a little skunk for my grand son. I always call him a little stinker!

Back to school already? It doesnt seem possible. Where did the time go? Where did my little ones go? They grow up way to quickly. This little fox is too cute. There is an endless possibilities in the way this could be used and so many things that it could be used for instead of just pencils.
