Crochet Gauge6 rows (v stitch) X 4 stitches = 2 inches

Finished SizeFits 3/6 month baby. Flat circle measurement at end of round 4 is 3.5 inches.

The V Stitch is one of the easiest fancy stitches around. The project uses the stitch to perfection, creating an airy bonnet that can be used even in the summer. The designer suggests cotton yarn, but it could also be worked in acrylic if you wanted it to be warmer. The pattern is well written (no photos), and there are separate print and .pdf buttons at the bottom of the page.
