Mini Granny Square Baby Hat
If you've crocheted for a while, then you've probably made numerous granny squares for use in sweaters and bags. But what about miniature granny squares? With this pattern for the Mini Granny Square Baby Hat, you will make a series of smaller crochet granny squares in a pretty shade of pink. The mini granny squares are then incorporated in the crochet hat. The new arrival will be a fashionista right from the start! This crochet pattern is also easy to make, so consider making a few to keep on hand for upcoming baby showers.

The designer of this project developed it to match an already existing pattern for booties. Like the booties, there is a downloadable .pdf and an instructional video for this project. Again, this pattern calls for unusual instructions for assembling the hat i.e. the granny squares are worked and sewn together into a headband, then the top and bottom sections are added.
