Little Berry Crochet Hat
The Little Berry Crochet Hat is the perfect little treat for your preemie or baby this winter. This delectable design is worked up in all white and features a band of little red berries along the bottom of the hat, as well as a thin row of green to offset the stark white. This basic hat form is easy to work, but the intermediate difficulty comes into play when working the band of berries, so be sure to read the instructions.

I was initially attracted to this pattern because of the red, white and green colors, for use during the Christmas season. The hat is relatively easy to make, and definitely challenged my intermediate skills with the addition of the berries. Thankfully the pattern is well written, and easy to follow. Would love to see directions for toddler sizes.

This is a great infant hat. I love the roses around the brim. Including instructions for each size is great for all of us who find making the adjustments for the hat sizes difficult. I know that I want to make this for a special friend of mine. Beautiful hat!

I love this design! It immediately puts me in mind of the Strawberry Shortcake character. I make a lot of hats for newborns and will certainly add this one to my collection of designs. I would make a few changes though. Instead of the pompon described, I think I'll make a few leaves top them with a red pom with a few black strands of yarn tossed in to look like seeds. Might stitch a few seeds onto the berries at the base, too.
