This adorable hat pattern is super easy to work up and, because of its size, is super fast! Substitute green for the red if you're more into granny smith apples, or any color if you don't want to add the stem and little leaf. Either way, this darling hat will look so cute on your little one's head.

I love that this pattern gives sizes for preemie babies. It can be hard for families to find things for preemies to wear that are the right size, since most everything is size for a full-term baby. I crochet preemie hats for charity so this pattern is perfect for it.

This hat is so adorable! I love quirky baby hats like this. It would make such a unique baby shower gift!

I really like this pattern. It's easy and cute and also very versatile . It will make up quickly too. And after you make this as an apple, change the color to orange and it becomes a pumpkin. I call my twin grandsons my little pumpkins so what could be more fitting? Thank you for posting it.
