From the Designer: "I am so thrilled with this project! The modern mitered crochet baby blanket features a super easy repeat of single crochet stitches crocheted in the back loop only, finished with a slip stitch border. I wanted to do something a little different than simple stripes, and I am thrilled with the results! Something a little asymmetrical, a little textured, and with lovely modern colors. The slip stitch border alternates colors every row and to me looks almost like rope. I love the effect! The blanket is worked in super bulky yarn, making it a fast project for last-minute gifting. Great for beginners too since it works up so quickly!"
