This is a great way to spruce up the ordinary crochet project. This particular item has a very small cross stitch pattern but I am sure if you search the web you could find items to take there place. I like the concept but I do not have the time to do the extra leg work but I will save this pattern for future use.

It has been a long while since I have taken on a crochet pattern. I am happy that I stumbled on this pattern. Partly the reason I have put cross stitch aside is because I have difficulty seeing. I know I can see this. I plan to take the information I learned here to be able to continue cross stitching, perhaps with a pillow to begin with.

I'm giving this Baby Zoo Afghan a 3-star rating for its size. It's too small you couldn't see the detail of the project. Anyway I know, though that there are animal designs on the blanket which is true to its name. Love the color combo which is predominantly yellow, my favorite color accentuated by purple and pink. This pattern is perfect as a gift or for your own baby boy or baby girl.

this link to the Baby Zoo Afghan does not give a chart that is readable in order to create the animals for this filet pattern.
