Are there any corrections to this pattern? Have tried to begin this and get stuck on the 2nd row. It doesn't come out correctly at the end. There are double crochets left over making the next row not workable. and Row three doesn't have enough to to get you to the next sc space ???Thank you.

Beautiful pattern but it seems this would be perfect as a filet crochet pattern--following a grid would be easier for me so I plan to make one rather than have to follow stitch directions for the repeat of 13 rows.

How precious! This afghan is as simple to make as it is lovely to look at. To add a little color I used 1/4" ribbon tied in a bow and sewn at the neckline, I also used some silver and gold embroider floss ( 3 plys in needle) to accent the halo and the wings. I am really pleased with the results and so was my niece,who wrapped the baby in it for her christening.
