Im not especially impressed with this project. Its extremely fiddly, as you have to work the project in parts, stretch and stiffen them, and then glue the parts together. That seems like a lot of work for a not particularly great looking project. It is good practice for working netting, but I dont think Ill be keeping this pattern in my file.

Love this lacy, airy angel. She would be a perfect addition to any tree top or to sit on a table with other decorations. Glitter on the wings and the halo will set her off beautifully. From the directions I wouldn't exactly say this is an easy pattern but with patience and attention to detail it will turn out perfectly.

If you use the white glue mix, you can also sprinkle glitter on the wings and dress.

Fabric stiffener or some type of startch if you have any.. If you don't have anything that's bought from the store, I heard that mixing about a cup of sugar to a half cup of water(boiling water I think) should do the trick.

another thing you can try in unflavored gelatin. Soak it in it then block it the way you want to to come out after it dries. But I usually use liquid starch when I make christmas decorations.

try mixing regular white glue 50/50 with water, soak item in glue mixture, squeeze out excess glue, shape and allow to dry overnight
