I have not made this Pretty in Pink Crochet Vest yet but it's now on the top of my must do list. I'm not sure why it's called a vest when it looks like a sleeveless top. I've never hear of the yarn she used so I'm hoping any (4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran yarn will work. After reading the written pattern and seeing the chart for putting it together, I think this one will work out great. I'm looking forward to doing something other then hats and scarfs now. Thank you for sharing this free crochet top pattern.

Manos Del Uraguay Cotton Stria is a 100% cotton, single ply, worsted weight yarn. It has a fine thread wrapped around it to give it a wavy appearance. It has been discontinued. If you search for it in yarnsub.com, quite a long list of substitutes will come up for you. The list includes pictures, so you should be able to get a good idea of which types of yarn will work best.
