When I think vacation, I think cut loose and get wild. Why wouldn't this kimono cardigan be created in a color that says just that. This is a lovely piece but I would like to have it made in a vibrate color that calls attention to me when I wear it during my vacation. Perhaps I will create this design in a lipstick red.

Can any article of crochet clothing get any easier than this? It is a simple design but very versatile. I would rather have it in a more summer color but I can get with the muted beige as well. I agree, this would be a great bathing suite cover up as well as a cardigan. With the openness of the weave and using cotton this can be worn all spring and summer.

This is a nice light cover-up for warm summer days. It is also a nice light cardigan for summer evenings. The pattern is well written and easy to follow. The moss stitch works up quickly, so I dont imagine it would take very long to whip one of these up. I think I will make a few of them in different colours so I have a variety.

After seeing this beauty it was hard for me to think it was easy. But after reading the directions I must admit it really is. I am heading north for a vacation in early fall and because I live in Florida, I don't even own a sweater. This will be perfect for cool nights.

I do not ever block my apparel after I am done making it. Looking at her pics, I can tell that she DOES. And that makes a lot of difference. She's human, like me. I can see her work in progress is a little wavy and uneven, and that is okay. That is why we block. Her finished project looks amazing and I give it and A. I love her kimono patterns and I have used them as inspiration to make my own designs!
