Slanting Shells Cowl

"Crochet this lovely slanting shells cowl for yourself, to keep out the cold and compliment your outfit, it is a great replacement for a scarf, made in a light worsted weight #3 yarn with a pretty leaning shell design, you can wear it loose around your neck for style or folded over for warmth, I have crocheted it in a gorgeous pale lilac color, but it would look nice in navy or any dark colors too."

This is a very simple cowl to work up. After starting the initial row, the two pattern rows are repeated until the desired length is attained. There arent any truly tricky stitches beyond a (US) Triple Crochet. This is a very nice pattern for a Beginner to expand basic skills, and being a cowl as opposed to a scarf, it will work up quickly.

I love the color of this Slanting Shells Cowl. The pattern is well written and sounds easy enough to make. I saved this one and will be making a few of them. I like the idea of something different and this slanting shells cowl is one that will have people asking about it. It looks to be light enough for spring and will go well for a night out on the town. Thank you for sharing this free crochet pattern.
