This is a fairly easy project to stitch, but does require that you have basic knowledge of how to change colors within a project. Perfect in red and white for Valentines Day, but have fun trying different colors for other days of the year. The Valentine's Heart Sweater does not require a lot of time or yarn to stitch up."

Any time I see a handmade piece of doll clothing, I immediately think of my sisters friend Diane. Back in the day, you bought a single Barbie in a bathing suit, and all the outfits were sold separately. While my mom and I worked from a McCalls fabric pattern, Dianes grandmother worked for weeks on knitted and crocheted outfits. Diane hated them and promptly sold me the entire collection for $1. Her mom was furious, and I had to give them back. Pretty devastating for a nine year old!

Oh my gosh, is this ever cute! You don't find much doll clothing to crochet these days anymore. But you'll find dresses for your Barbies all over the thrift stores. This Valentine sweater is updated and modern. Your granddaughter will love this fashion piece to play around with.
