These ombre heart coasters are from a free pattern by Lilla Bjorn's Crochet world. She is a master at color combinations. That you will see if your browse her site. These are cute as coasters but I want to make them into a garland to hang over my work window in my office.

We typically think that of hearts during the month of February because of Valentines day. Love is not just for that month though. We should give and receive it on a daily basis. This cute little ombre heart coaster would be just the thing to remind that special someone, no matter what day of the year, that you love them.

I love the mix of colors in these hearts! It makes them unique in comparison to the usual red or pink hearts.

Love these little hearts and love the coloring used. They just gave me an idea of what to make to finish a couple of projects that I started last week. The hearts will make the perfect applique patch on them. This is a new designer for me and looking over her blog, I find lots of things that interest me.

Neat that these are hearts born of a triangle shape! I think I prefer this look to the regular rounded hearts I have seen most other times. Also, the yarn used in this project sets this ombre heart apart from the rest. It is very soothing to look at. It will string together easily to make a lovely garland as well. I love these!

This is an interesting looking heart. The center triangles keep radiating out until the scallops are added to the top of one side to give it that distinctive heart shape. Its easy to work up as the designer provides clear instructions and plenty of close up, detailed photos. You dont have to use ombre yarn either. I didnt have any handy so I just changed colors at the joins for each round.
