Crochet Vehicles Little Green Tractor
This Little Green Tractor is part of the fun Crochet Vehicles series that will bring a whole new dimension to your child's playtime. These homemade toys for toddlers prevent the typical array of mishaps: squished toes from hard plastic wheels, chipped furniture from contests seeing who can roll the toy the fastest, and minuscule broken parts that you can't fix without a microscope. These DIY toys are soft but still completely realistic looking, and this free crochet pattern would be perfect for your little one's first tractor toy. This pattern also gives you the chance to try out the linen stitch, complete with a photo tutorial.

NotesTip: If you use 100% wool, your tractor will naturally felt. If you use acrylic yarn, you won’t get any felting and the tractor would require less maintenance as you could just chuck it in the normal wash.

This is so sweet. I have twin 18 month old twin grand sons that will love this. And not only can they play but no worries about damage to house hold items or each other. They can toss them around and not get hurt. Thank you for sharing this adorable pattern.

Living in farm country, any tractor worked in these particular colors is going to be identified with a specific brand. The pattern is only available as a download. Since the tractor is worked using the Linen Stitch, the designer has included a link to a photo tutorial. I just love the fat little tires, and you could always make the tractor in different colors to reflect your favorite brand.

My two year old nephew is obsessed with trucks and tractors. So much so that he would take his little metal dinky cars to bed at night. Ouch! Not fun when he rolls over on one. So I crocheted this tractor for him and he now takes this to bed. It is the best of both worlds a truck that is soft and cuddly, just right for bedtime. The pattern was a little tricky but not too difficult and well worth the result! He loves it!
