Soft toys and games are always appreciated as gifts. I love the fat little fish and that heart shaped tailfin is just darling. The only problem I have with this is the magnets. The designer goes into detail about how she treated the issue, but Id still rather be safe than sorry. Im not sure how to change it thoughVelcro dots maybe? Youd still need to weight the hook though.

Such a cute child's game. On the days when it is impossible to go outside, this will be a fun game to play with the kids. Thanks for the safety pointers to make this a safe fun game for the kids.

I can remember the go fish game as a child during fall festivals at our local elementary school. Now I can share that experience with my grand kids. I agree with AFC Editor Julia, the pond can be made by just making a circle in the color of blue. This is a great take alone toy also.

I was very excited to see this pattern. My little grandchildren will love it. Then disappointment when I cant get the pattern for the pond.

Hi Linda, You could probably just start with a magic circle in blue, like you would a hat, and just keep expanding it to create your own makeshift pond. You could also ask the blogger directly for her pond pattern or ask anyone on our lovely Facebook group for any advice. Thank you, and good luck! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

The pattern for the pond I see oth included in the free patterns. But if you are familiar with crochet, you can make a round form. Just follow any round granny square pattern and when it's the right size, trim it in green. Just do like three half double stitches in every stitch of your last row to creAte the wave look.

Where is the pattern for the pond?
