30 Minute Lightsaber

search

This super easy 30 Minute Lightsaber is a great crochet pattern to work up for kids. It's like a crochet cozy pattern for your popsicle, and the popsicle creates the actual lightsaber part. Just a few scraps of leftover yarn (black and gray) are used to complete this crochet pattern. Two buttons are added (either felt, yarn, or actual buttons) for the perfect finishing touch. This is a super easy pattern that is simple enough for even novice crocheters to complete.

My younger son is visiting from Arizona and happened to pass by while I had this pattern pulled up. He immediately requested several for himself and to pass out to his friends. I asked him if he realized these were freezy pop holders, and he said, yeah, but he still bet he could put little laser flashlights inside. Did I mention hes 42 years old this year?

A great little pattern that crochets up really quickly, it made a fab little gift for children at my sons birthday party as they all had pop ices after tea and they could take them home. They also use minimal wool so are great for stash busting. A must for all Star Wars fans.

Thank you for sharing such a great pattern. As the grand mother of four, you don't know how much I appreciated such a cute, creative , non destructive toy . They can rely more on their imaginations and grandma doesn't end up with broken Death Stars and wounded storm troopers all over her house.
