It is wonderful to know that this item can be purchased from the designers website. I felt a little bit overwhelmed until I read the notes and directions. Knowing that the two pieces are identical and then simple joined together takes a lot of the worry out of being able to complete this on my own. I know I can find the special stitches via a google search and I really want to stretch my crochet legs so to speak. I think I will give this a try.

What a stunning tunic. You can really see leaves. The self-striping yarn really does the ultimate trick here making the fall pattern come to life. I also like the tunic in the rich auburn color as well. As not for beginners, this will have to be resigned to the coffers for now until I get a little more experience under my belt.

Love this turning leaves tunic for its color, design and style. It's so stylish and chic. I'm sure this will look very fashionable when done in a dark color. Oh so the fashionista will want to have one in her wardrobe.

This is a beautiful tunic! The fall colors of this Turning Leaves Tunic go to well together. I am looking forward to making this, just wish I didn't have to pay for the smaller size pattern. I'm hoping my crochet skills can change the patter to medium. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet tunic pattern.

Isn't this lovely how this all came together? Oh my gosh! It's beautiful to look at. I can imagine wearing this with a tissue weight long sleeve simple tee underneath as a layering piece, in a color to match. OR- go super dressy and make on in BLACK. Wear some diamond stud earrings with it.

Complicated? Not! It's all Double Crochet stitches w/chains. Just put them in the right place! What makes you say it's for experienced crocheters? Anyone who knows the DC st, and "read" patterns can make this, very lovely, tunic.
