The Coffee Shop Wrap
"The Coffee Shop Wrap is the simplest thing to make, just a beautiful great big rectangle of yarn that’s seamed on the last row to create the shoulder and a cowl neckline. It uses a combination of double treble, double crochet and slip stitches (US treble and single crochet) to create a really unusual texture and sumptuous drape. It really does feel like it’s giving you a great big hug when it’s on. I used some seriously squishy yarn for this – Rico Essentials Alpaca Blend Chunky and an 8mm/L crochet hook."

It's easy, it's inexpensive and it's very pretty. What more would you want from a project. I read thru the directions and found them to be well written and very easy to follow. It's a basic stitch item that anyone should be able to follow. This is going on to my to do list for sure.

This pattern is a good example of where the right yarn makes a big difference. I really like the varied stitch pattern and it really shows with a nice yarn. This pattern also would be a good stash buster as well. I love the fact that it is just one big rectangle and I also like the detail with the neck slightly rolled down. Thank you. It will go on my list.

I love the look of the mixed stitch rows. The texture it creates is such a treat to the eye. This wrap is different than any other one I have seen. I have never come across one that is worn sideways and secured at the shoulder. It covers only the parts of the body that can catch a chill IN a coffee shop. HA!
