This Spring Time Kimono Cardigan has sooooo many possibilities! I can see it as a lightweight cardi or a bathing swimsuit cover up. It can also be created in whatever color that your heart desires. I've been looking for a first garment to crochet and this would make a perfect one. The pattern directions seem well written and they've even given guidelines for increasing the size to fit us larger folks. The artist has even given us several ways to learn different parts of the cardi!

This spring time kimono is cute and sexy at the same time. It is just sheer enough to give a peek of what it is covering up. The kimono is very easy to make by sewing two rectangular crocheted pieces together. The instructions are very easy to understand. This will make a terrific spring break gift.

I want to wear this in summer. The color is fit for that season, and the design used is airy which is just very appropriate for the coming hot summer months. You can change the color to your liking if you want to make this.

Another simply great basic wardrobe staple, this Springtime Kimono Sweater will be ready to wear in a few days time- due to the large ("J" hook) crochet hook size. Don't you love this color? I love my kimonos for spring and summer. If you haven't made one for yourself yet, give it a try, because they are super easy to make. Two long rectangles joined halfway up, then separating and hanging down over each shoulder and down your front. THen, sew up each side for your arm hole, and make it as big and roomy as you like- or sew further up for a smaller arm hole opening.
