My Favorite Summer Top
"Summer is quickly approaching, at least I hope it is, and it’s time for lighter weight yarns and summer garments! One of my favorite summer tops is one I purchased a few years ago from a large department store. Two of the things I love most about this top are it’s openwork back and subtle waist shaping. Because I love these elements, I made sure to incorporate them into the design for this crochet pattern, My Favorite Summer Top."

This is a lovely top for any season of the year. I can see this top being worn under a blazer or over a mock turtle neck as well as just a top. I love the reversible feature. Bam! This is a two for one project. Have to make one in a warm and a dark color.

What a surprise on the back of this summer top. For those of us with long locks it may go unseen unless you wear you hair up. I like this summer top and I am thinking of a much paler color to make it with. That way you really get a feel of summer with a color like peach or yellow. Thanks for the free pattern. Bonus! The design is reversible.

Wow what a beautiful top this one is! I love the openwork on this top. The written pattern for this "My Favorite Summer Top" is well done and can be made for so many different sizes. I love the idea of using basic crochet stitches to create a beautiful summer top. I so need to give this one a go and hope it comes out as great looking as the one photoed. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet summer top pattern.

That is awesome that the yardage is so plentiful in these skeins! I love a good value like that. For most people, you might only need 2-3 skeins. The way the pattern is written is very different. I like that it is a sleeveless top but not a full tank style. It gives just a little extra arm coverage. I think it is fit for a boutique, absolutely!

This pattern is given in a variety of sizes. I love the little peek a boo open work pattern at the base of the back neck area. You gotta keep your hair pulled up in order for others to see it. There is also instructions for making a gauge sample to make sure you get your sizing correct for this pattern.
