What a pretty top. The stitches are basic, nothing fancy or complicated to learn. It's perfect for my beginners crochet group. I will share this with them next week. The only modification I am going to make is the tie on the belly. I am not a skinny lady and anything set right on the waist line adds an unflattering look.

This wild orchid cardigan is really a forgiving cardigan. With the option to have it open or tie at the bottom is a real treat. I love the color used and with the open weave texture this can be worn thru the summer and depending on the color you select could easily be an item for fall and winter.

I love cardigans like this. You don't always need sleeves for that little bit of extra warmth and this design also keeps it from being too bulky. This design is a nice open pattern that keeps it from looking ordinary. I like the addition of the tie in front of well. The directions look well written and takes into consideration the problems some crocheters may have because of the tie at the bottom. Thank you for the pattern.

I really like that this project can be created in multiple sizes. The designer took the time to include pictures of the process and that is always valuable to me. This wild orchid cardigan has one design feature I relish. I love the tie feature in the front. It helps keep the item in place without taking the time to use buttons on a cardigan.

I love this cardigan. I have been looking for useful patterns like this one that I can work up easily and quickly while relaxing in the evenings. I have quite a bit of Caron Simply Soft, so I will be able to make it for myself in more than one colour.

What a great choice of yarn for this piece right here. Caron Simply Soft works up with such ease and gives a beautiful drape to your finished wearable. Did she give the finished lenght measurements? I like my cardis to hit either above the hip or much longer than. If I have something that lays right at the hip it tends to make me look bigger across the mid-section not very flattering for me.
