"The Split Sleeve Tee was inspired by trendy summer tops showing the shoulder. It is made with Malabrigo Worsted yarn for beautiful subtle color changes. This is a very easy sweater that would be suitable for a beginner who knows how to chain and double crochet. Very minimal finishing makes this project work up very quickly - just stitch the sides and underarms together and a few places at the top. A schematic drawing helps with the finishing instructions. Made in two pieces."
Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge4 V-sts = 3”; 8 rows = 4” [10 cm] in Stitch Pattern after blocking

Little additions make any crochet project special. This split sleeve is just the thing for this one. I need another top like I need a hole in my head, but I just have to make this one for myself. Thanks for the free pattern.

Just in time for summer. I have been noticing a trend of shirts that have something going on with the sleeves. I have seen a lot of off the shoulder as well as types with split sleeves. Now I can be that much more special with a home made top with a feature that is hot for this spring/summer season of 2018.

This is a great top. It has me for so many reasons. I love the split shoulder. The pattern is very easy to follow and you can make it in almost any size you need. This is a great project for me to use to make presents for my family and friends.

I would not exactly call this a split sleeve "tee" perse, it is certainly a short sleeve sweater! I would like this for myself, and I would make it in the next size up, or even two sizes up. It totally has an 80's vibe with the split sleeve, and making it bigger/boxier it will sort of hang and drape in the perfect way. Thanks for giving us this new pattern.
