Crossed and Cropped Top

"I wanted to create a simple sweater with a nice flattering shape that would be appropriate to wear throughout the year. Though this top is cropped, it provides a lot of coverage. You can also add rows to make it a little more modest! The pattern sizes range from XS to 5X. I recommend using worsted weight (4) cotton yarn for this project. You need to know basic crochet stitches and one special stitch (crossed double crochet) to complete this crochet project."
