    Having transitioned from knitting to crochet, I missed the nice stretchy bands worked in ribbing, until I realized that it was actually possible to work in ribbing in crochet as well. Now the technique I learned was quite different from the one taught in this video tutorial but the results are very effective. I would recommend that any newbies to crochet add this stitch to their repertoire.
