What really makes these maple leaves stand out are the raised ridges. I searched for the original pattern at the Red Heart site and was able to download the .pdf. A real treat was finding an instructional video for this very project! Also at the Red Heart site, heres the link http//www.redheart.com/learn/videos/crochet-maple- == leaf Im a visual learner, so videos are always appreciated.

These crochet leaves have so much texture that they almost look real. I read over the directions and it surprised me that the leaf is work in pieces. Not sure if I will make these but they are beautiful.

I've been trying forever to find a pattern for a maple leaf and this is the perfect one. Thank you for sharing!!!

This is an absolutely gorgeous pattern.i am going to make it for sure. But I am going to do them in different fall colors like brown, orange and gold. I can even get variegated yarn with those colors in it. Thank you for sharing this pattern.and for free too!
