A designer after my heart. I love gladiator sandals and I would wear them all year long if I could. I guess with this pattern, it is possible. I can wear them all year long, inside. They really look comfortable. I hope I have some yarn in the bin now so that I can start making them today.

I would call these baby booties on steriods. Instead of walking around bare footed in the house, this is my new solution. I think that this free pattern design is adorable and once I slip them over my heels, I do not have to worry about keeping them on my feet. I am making a pair for all the girls in the house.

I will definitely have to give these a try. I think I may make a double sole though. I am always running out to the back yard in my sock feet. A second outer sole made with something like jute would make the slippers more durable if you wanted to run outside for something. It would also help them keep their shape better. Adding a coating of sealant to waterproof the bottoms would help too.
