What better way to let your date know how you feel than to wear your heart on your sleeve, or rather, your shoulders? This beautiful lacy crochet shawl is the perfect amount of coverage for a date in warm weather or to bring into a chilly restaurant for a date on Valentine's Day. The pretty pink crochet hearts are a great summer color while the grey hearts allow this shawl to slip between seasons seamlessly!

Precious hearts, so pretty on a scarf. I think you should be advanced and confident enough in your hooking skills to pull off this "pattern", since it is not really a pattern. There have been a few like this one, where they give you a video tutorial and it is up to you to kind of figure it out. If you are up for the challenge, this is very pretty!

I was getting excited when I seen the picture of this Love Triangle Crochet Shawl, thinking there would be a written pattern for it. There is not a written pattern, just 2 videos showing how to make the hearts into a shawl. After watching both videos and reading the comments, I see she will email you the written pattern. There is a chart, but I'm a great at crocheting from a chart. So I have saved this one and hope some day there will be a written pattern posted. Thanks anyways for sharing this free crochet video pattern.

I love these linked hearts, but to be honest, if this project didnt come with an instructional video, I wouldnt even think about working this pattern! The chart is a little bit helpful but I wouldnt rely on it. I cant stress enough about watching the video before you start. The actual stitches arent hard but achieving the links can be tricky (see additional video). The pattern itself is also available as a download.

I have made this shawl. I gifted it to a friend and she absolutely loves it. My shawl (using #2 fine angora) was 36 wide x 31.5 long (center) (38 each side). It only took about 4 or 5 hours to complete. It is easily adjusted to make whatever size you like. I started with a base of 13 hearts. It is a unique pattern and a must try for anyone looking to try out something different.
