Hew Sideways Shawl
"Today’s free crochet pattern is the Hew Sideways Shawl which is a beautiful filet crochet shawl with very easy to do stitches, this is a beginner friendly crochet pattern and is worked sideways. This shawl has blocks of double crochet stitches and then a row of chains and double crochet to give it a peephole effect. This shawl worked up so quickly and the color is absolutely lovely! I worked my shawl using Cascade 220 Aran in the color Fern and i think it really shows up those beautiful but simple stitches. The only thing i would change about this shawl is that i would have probably gone a bit longer but i only had 3 skeins of this colorway and i couldn’t get anymore in the same dye lot which was a shame but apart from that i absolutely love how it turned out."
