Ferne Shawl

"The Ferne shawl that has been carefully designed using a soft merino wool to give it a light feel but also covers you up for cooler evenings. Truly a versatile piece for any wardrobe. This pattern has been written for DK weight yarn but it is that versatile that it can be done using any weight yarn. The wool i used for this pattern is King Cole Luxury Merino DK it is made from 100% Merino wool and it is lovely and soft and comes in a great range of colors. This is a superwash yarn and the reason why i chose a superwash is because it stretches and this really opens up the chain spaces and makes it really light and airy. If you are having trouble getting hold of this beautiful yarn i would recommend using another superwash yarn like this Cascade 220 DK."
