Elegant and Lacy Floral Shawl
An Elegant and Lacy Floral Shawl like this one is sure to turn heads. It's a beautiful free crochet pattern by Kristin Omdahl and the floral back just really adds to the design. If you're tired of searching for the right shawl then I think you finally found it.

This is so beautiful that I am trying very hard to ignore the Advanced rating! I love the design down the centre of the back very elegant and quite lovely. Just yesterday I ordered some beautiful lace weight yarn from a local manufacturer here in South Africa and this is definitely going to be the project for it.

The link to get the crochet pattern took me to a different posting on this website where the shawl was named Elegant Crochet Flower Shawl. The pattern is shown on that page. The same picture is posted there that highlights the back of the shawl with the row of crochet flowers are center. I would have also liked to have seen a picture of how the front of the shawl looks.

I know that Kristin is working on an updated version of this pattern, using her own yarn... keep checking back on this site, or her site for the file!

I love the look of this Lacy Floral Shawl, but I think I am miss reading the pattern. The pattern tells how to make the flowers and half flowers, but I don't see the lacy part. Has anyone made this? If so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I really would like to make this.. Thank you.

A few years ago I tried to make this pattern I gave up because the designer never corrected or explained what exactly was supposed to be done in certain parts. She never responded to any ones questions at the time she posted it on her blog.
