I've got nothing against the wrap perse, but I think it is just wrongly styled. It would make a great impact as a wrap around over the shoulders and around the neck, like a scarf, over your solid colored coat or a tunic top. This is substantial enough to wear like that during the cooler weather, with no coat needed, too! Either way, I'd give it a try.

This doesnt have the makings of a very pretty wrap. It would be very warm though from the way it looks in the picture. I think this pattern and design would be a better fit as an afghan. This design looks way too bulky for a wrap especially with the dress shown in the picture.

Thank you for this free pattern! Dont you just love the understated retro look? This is something my grandmother might have worn in the 1930s and 40s. So elegant. I am thinking about what colors to use as those shown are not quite me but once I have decided I will be starting to make it right away. Can not wait to wear it!

LOL... Almost a year later and it's still here. The only magic I could imagine is if it would go away ! ! !

hmmmm...

NOPE, I'm just not seeing it. Are we all looking at the same thing? BELIEVE ME . . . . I make it a point to NEVER say anything unkind or negative . . . I'm not like that. I belong to several crochet sites and say something good because someone tried hard ... but this doesn't even come into that category. Maybe the model could have worn it differently ... I don't know. I'm entitled to my opinion as well and it doesn't work for me. BTW, I wasn't being "loud" . . . I know, I know, "if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all"... but that wouldn't be fair either. Sorry if I offended anyone.

you are absolutely right. I thought it was a joke

I think it's cute too. As with anything else - music, perfume etc, we all have our own taste and preferences. I don't see the need to so loudly proclaim such a negative opinion.

PLEASE make this one go away. It can't be real. The same two comments are always here and no one can think it's cute. It looks like an old flour sack . . . I'll give it a star but only because I have to. Otherwise I would find a way to give it a negative 10 . . .

Very cute!!! Sl st sleeves, and you've got a shrug!!!

Wow, this looks sooooo cool! It is my next project!
