Crochet Beach Cover Up

"This summer is very hot, isn’t it? You need as less clothes as it possible, but at the same time you need a perfect sunscreen thing, so this shawl is for you. You can wear it many ways you want: tie it around your neck, breast or waist to make a dress or skirt, cover your shoulders to protect the skin form burning in the sun or wrap it around your head. Another good point is that you can wear this shawl with almost any bikinis or swimsuits."

This beautiful self-striping wrap is a nice 49 1/2" in width. If you are plus sized this may not be enough for you, but I think it could easily be adjust to fit by upping your starting chain number- as long as you stay within the correct multiples according to the pattern. Don't ask me what that would be. You will have to figure that out for yourself! I just love bright colors! I would even wear this in the fall over a denim jacket.

Was looking for crochet patterns that called for using the steel crochet hooks as I love to work with thread and I was surprised to find this pattern. The designer uses fingerling yarn to crochet this. This will be a treasured piece if you select to make it. After all the time you put into it you will value it that much more. Beautiful.

Such a fancy schmancy beach cover-up. I love the colors. Went straight to the web to locate the fingerling yarn that the designer used. Looks like I will have to go for something similar. When I really have to dig for it, I just go to something else. thanks for the pattern.
