My first thought was how could I feel comfortable wearing this in the water for vanity reasons alone. Then after reading the directions by the designer I see that there is a liner sewn in. Having the lining, I would not be afraid to get the top wet. This is a simple design and for those that live near the beach and visit often, this pattern will help offset the cost of those expensive bathing suits. Make one with fringes and one with out. Thanks for sharing.

Sassy, sexy. I like this sand dollar DIY bikini top. I would be afraid to get it wet but I can see it on the beach just catching some rays on the shore. I love the hot pink. Take the time to look at all the colors the designer used to create these.

This is the link to the full pattern http//www.gleefulthings.com/blog/?p=7627 . Since I live in Florida, I am very interested in obtaining an easy and quick pattern for bikinis that I could work on while lying on the beach. I would eventually like to make enough that I could sell some to the tourists while I am making them.

I have always had a fascination with crochet bikinis. I have a million patterns for them yet i haven't made one. I really love the way this one is designed and the tie string is a great idea because you can adjust it more for your chest. This is really pretty. I may finally make a bikini top.
