Red Heart Valentine Applique

"The perfect Valentine’s Day pattern for beginners, the Red Heart Applique crochet pattern is a quick pattern that is sure to brighten up any clothing/accessory. Since this pattern features a red heart, I used Red Heart brand yarn to make this pattern. Since Red Heart yarn usually features Medium Weight or Category 4 yarn. So to make it perfect, I used Category 1 yarn, using the brand Woolike Yarn by Loops and Threads. This soft cotton yarn works well as a border for this applique, and it's my go-to yarn when I need Category 1 for my crochet patterns!
