I have never really understood the purpose of crochet using 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held together. So I conducted a little research. It is not really a necessity but a desire for what you want the project to look like. Frugal me, I would probably elect to use a single strand.

It is that time of the year again. Who would not like to have this cute pumpkin as part of the fall decorations in there home? I know I love fall and I have pumpkins of all kinds. From glass to crochet. I love the curly tendrils of this jumbo ami pumpkin so I plan on making one today.

I have several smaller amigurumi pumpkins and gourds, but not a large one. The embedded link above takes you to the Doriyumi Ravelry page. From there, you will need to click on the link that leads to her actual pattern page (no download at the Ravelry site). The pattern itself is very easy to follow. Thanks so much for including this project. Its just what I needed.
