I know a couple of twins that would look great in a sassy summer bikini like this. I am not a fan of the color selection but I am sure I can find a shade that they will adore. I keep telling them I will make them something and with my limited time, I know I can get this done quickly and just in the nick of time for summer beach parties.

I can only remember my first bikini from the pictures. This is just outstanding. The cost of beach wear can be ridiculous and this would be a way to offset the cost. Making a couple of these in coordinating colors, you will not have to go the the beach in the same suit twice this year.

Right now, I am on a binge of crocheting bikinis of all types. I guess living in Florida near the ocean has motivated me to do that because I see so many different styles of bikinis every day. I actually saw someone on Instagram that had made this exact bikini already and she has been successful at selling them on her site.

I am a little bit leery of crocheted bathing suits. I always worry they will stretch out of shape and leave me exposed. Has anyone here actually made this yet and tested it in the water? How did it work out? Is it safe, or did it sag and leave you exposed?

Swimsuit season is upon us. Actually swimsuit season is year round here in SoFlo. I have never crocheted a swimsuit before, but I have seen lots of girls wearing crochet suits and see them for sale in most of the shops along the beach. This one is cute and I want to try it.

For ages I have been looking for a really good bikini pattern so thank you very much for this pattern! Even though we are definitely moving into winter here in South Africa I am going to make one now just to see the sizing and how the pattern works so that I will be ready to go as soon as the weather starts to warm up towards October, lol!

What a trendy bikini! I really like how colorful it is. The classic design is also really flattering.
