Fall-la-la Candy Corn Door Hanging
"If you're looking for something different than a wreath to hang on your front door, then look no further. How cute and sweet to have Candy Corn hanging from your front door? This would also look great to hang on a lamp post along your sidewalk or driveway. Or, you could simply use it for your inside seasonal decor. The pattern works up fairly quickly, using Bernat Softee Chunky Yarn. The Candy Corn measure 8", 9 1/2" and 11"."
NotesSuper cute and works up fast. Great for beginners.

I love making things for holidays because it is an easy and usually inexpensive way to decorate and it helps me get into the holiday spirit. Fall is always the best because there are so many holidays back to back. This candy corn door ornament is cute and it is perfect for the fall. Not to mention it is quicker to make than the knitted and crochted wreaths.

This is so clever and exactly what Ive been looking for. My front door faces northwest which is exactly the direction most of our bad storms come from. Even though I have a covered porch, that doesnt prevent blustery winds from playing havoc with wreaths or anything on the porch. These are perfect because I can add a small pouch of poly beads to the bottom to weigh them down a little.

This candy corn door hanger is a great Fall project for office, home, or school. Each hanger has a piece of candy corn in three different sizes attached to a chain joined at the top with a bow. I think the bow needs to be tweaked a little because it doesnt blend that well with the candy pieces. Not sure what I will do with mine yet.

I had no idea by looking at the pics that this uses a bulky weight yarn. These must be really soft and lofty. Seems like the kind of project that seniors would appreciate. Either they can make it themselves to keep their fingers nimble or YOU can make it for them! This type of door decor is perfect for apartment dwellers. It isn't too big and you don't have to lug it in and out of storage each year. Cute idea! Thanks for the pattern.
