I was a little puzzled about the name chosen to represent this scarf. I think I like Tamaras name for it better. Except for looking like Skittles candy, theres not really much connection to Willy Wonka. Whats really nice about this pattern (in addition to the free .pdf download) is the wonderful chance to work from a chart. If youre not already familiar with international crochet symbols, take this opportunity to practice. It will open an entire new world of patterns to you.

This is a perfect scarf for the spring months! it's warm enough, but it is also light weight enough that it won't cause you to overheat. I think it would work up beautifully in a cotton yarn or a bamboo yarn, both which are breathable and absorbent. The scarf could even work in the autumn or winter, with a warmer yarn or wool.

This is just the easiest and happiest scarf to work up. I enjoyed the entire process! Great written pattern.

Why aren't patterns written so I can print them without having to download extra programs to my computer?
