Unicorn Hooded Cowl
"I have been wanting to design a unicorn hooded cowl/scarf for a while now. There's just something so fun and magical about unicorns. If your kids are like mine and fight wearing hats and scarves in the winter, maybe a fun cowl like this will change their minds! They will stay warm and look adorable! I think this would also make a great Christmas gift. The thicker yarn and triple crochets make this pattern work up quickly!"

This is just in time for Trick or Treat, but it can also be used year round for creative play. Its loose enough that it shouldnt be too hot to wear no matter what season. Using Bulky weight yarn lets you work it up in a snap. And if you have boys instead of girls, you can work this in darker colors, lose the unicorn horn, and just make it up as a regular horse.

I have someone who would absolutely love to wear one of these hats- both her AND her young daughter. The simplicity of this is refreshing. Some unicorn design hats or hoods have a little too much going on. The best part is the colorful mane! It should be really fun to see it all coming together. Thanks for adding this new pattern in time for the winter and holiday gift giving.
