Turning Seasons Scarflet
"This Turning Seasons Scarflet reminds me of when the seasons are starting to change from hot to cold! Just perfect for the start of the cooler weather. SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate Basic stitches, simple shaping and finishing, but concentration required for increasing pattern stitches. MATERIALS: Yarns: Btrx Yarns - Delighted by Merino (sock - 100% Superwash Merino) in 2 x 50 g colors (variegated and grey) and 3 x 20 g colors (red; blue and yellow) Hooks & Notions: Hook 3, 25 mm (Clover) Yarn needle Abbreviations: CH – chain SL ST – slip stitch SC – single crochet DC – double crochet TR - treble crochet Notes: I use US Crochet stitch terminology. Due to the nature of this pattern – the yarn and hook used is only a suggestion and any substitute may be used. Size of finished product will vary depending on yarn and also size of hook used."

The varied stitch pattern really makes this an attractive and unusual scarf. I downloaded the .pdf to see if there were any more photos or instructions. While the written pattern seems to be standardized, the designer didnt indicate any color changes like in the sample. I have a pretty good idea where to start the white portion but clarification would be better.

This is a very pretty scarflet. A perfect cooler weather accessory to wear that has sort of a western flair. The blog where the pattern is shown has several more pictures of the finished scarflet, but has none showing the work in progress. Since this pattern is rated at an intermediate skill level, it definitely needed a few instructional pictures to go with the instructions.
