"This gorgeous spring or summer crochet mesh scarf makes a stunning accessory, no matter what the weather! Using a very lacy, open stitch pattern and an L/8mm hook really let the beachy, carefree spirit of this yarn shine. The simple, one row stitch repeat makes for the perfect relaxing crochet project. Of course, this pattern would look great worked up in your favorite solid color, too. But I love how effortlessly I crocheted these bold, broad stripes. The warm, summery oranges make a nice contrast to the sea and sky blue tones, and the speckles of black add even more interest. Perfect for layering over a favorite tee and jeans, but light enough that I could wear it to the beach in high summer."

I keep hearing about Hobby Lobbys I Love This Yarn and am impatiently waiting to try it. Winter has delayed some of the construction on the only store in our local area, but every time we drive by, I can see more and more progress. Hopefully not much longer! If it doesnt open soon, I may need to sneak over to the JoAnns and see what I can find there. This lovely open mesh cowl is perfect for Spring.

Seriously though, I need to get over to Hobby Lobby to check out this yarn. I will probably find several other colorways that I will love, as well- not good for my pocketbook! I love how she said that it took her a while to find out what the yarn wanted to be. That is often times how it is with me- I fall in love with the yarn and then LATER it manifests into what it wants to be. Gotta be just right!
