Im not sure why this is called Stormy Skies, but its a nice scarf nevertheless. Its a wonderful project for a Beginner, too. The stitch pattern is easy and repetitive, and while the pattern does call for changing colors every 50 rows, you could also just do it by length. You could make all the colored sections the same length, or go for a little deviation.

I have finally found that long scarf without the wide bulk. Sometimes I need one like this to go with certain outfits. I make my traditional scarves for myself, and they never come out long enough for my liking. This one measures 92 (or is it 94?) inches!

I usually wind up with just the opposite problem. I'm short, so if I'm not careful, I have to wind it so many times that I look like Randy in A Christmas Story.
