Scarfie Bandana Cowl
When I began designing the Scarfie Bandana Cowl, I only had intentions on making it in adult sizes until I received a request for child sizes as well. She said she really wanted to make a mommy and me set so that’s when I decided to add in the toddler and child sizes. I had been dying to use one of Lion Brand Scarfie’s latest colorways, Mint/Silver, ever since it came out so I grabbed the yarn, grabbed my hook and off I went to swatch. As I was swatching I fell more and more in love with this self-striping yarn and knew it was the perfect yarn to bring my vision to life. If you haven’t crocheted with Lion Brand Scarfie yet, you really should go pick up a ball today!

All of my teen granddaughters live west of the Mississippi. Although their fashion styles tend to be all over the place, at least a few are into the Cowboy look. I already have several balls of Scarfie in my yarn stash but you could just as easily work this up in any solid as well. The designer provides enough photos to finish the project as the actual crochet portion is pretty easy. Its sized for Toddlers through Adults, too

I'm reminded of a similarly shaped silk scarf from Arabia given to me by my nephew. Yeah, why not I can wear that scarf with the V shape placed in front. This Scarfie Bandana Cowl will look more dressy if longer and wider. Any color of your choice will look great.

Cool, I get to watch a video tutorial on how to do various crochet cable stitches! This is an area of my hobby that I am interested in exploring and learning more about. I appreciate the link for that! As for the Lion Brand Scarfie yarn in the mint/silver, well it is perfection. I am all about the triangle scarf lately, but what I really like about this one is that it pulls on over the head- so that it never will fly off my shoulders! yay!
