Wow, that super bulky yarn makes the crochet hook look like a miniature one. This is a great pattern for beginners since it uses only basic stitches and the super bulky yarn works up so quickly. The size is so easy to customize to whatever outfit you plan on wearing it with or for the season you want it for.

This is an incredibly quick pattern and perfect for someone who is learning how to crochet. They would make great gifts and craft table items too. You could make a lot of them in a short amount of time. My youngest wants to learn how to crochet. I think this project would give him a nice sense of accomplishment.

I have a friend who loves long scarves so this pattern would be perfect to make for her. I like the solid color but I think you could use a self patterning or ombre yarn and it would look good too, show off the colors. Fringe is back in style so that is the perfect finishing touch for the ends.
