Rescued Paw designs uses a lot of classic neutral colors on her designs and I like that. These designs seem like they are made to stand the test of time. It is a simple long rectangle with strategically placed buttons that turn it into a triangle shaped cowl. Two skeins are all that is required!

I've had this one saved to my patterns for awhile, because I LOVE these chunky buttoned cowls so much. There are just so many different ways to fold them without the buttons interfering, too!

Oh double Wow!! This is my absolute favorite type of cowl, thick chunky and snuggly warm, AND it looks so quick and easy to crochet! The buttons are such a great addition too - although my daughter has just asked me to make her one using wooden toggles instead of the buttons which might also look nice. I will try to remember to post a photo once it is done.
